How to play Atlas

Atlas is a geography chain game. Players take turns naming a place, and each new place must begin with the last letter of the previous one. No place may be used twice.

Rules

• Name a real country, state, province, or well-known region.
• Your place must start with the last letter of the place before it — for example, IndiA → Australia → AlgeriA.
• You cannot repeat a place already used. If a player can't think of a valid place, they lose.

Modes

Play against the computer, which takes a moment to think like a real opponent, or choose two players and pass the device back and forth. In two-player mode a handoff screen appears between turns so each player takes over cleanly.
